When Brandon tells you he's booked A Life Once Lost at Public Assembly in Williamsburg...  You fucking go.  We showed up early to catch openers Wet Nurse, Rosetta, and Buried Inside who were all quite good.  Midnight rolls around, we've been standing and drinking for 5 hours in the same venue, and a FUCKTON of fog starts to fill the room.  I'm not talking "Oh here's a little fog to help the lights look more showy,"  I'm talking "I CANT FUCKING SEE A THING AND MY EYES ARE BURNING."  I mean this in a good way of course.  The curtain opens and A Life Once Lost spend the next 50 minutes giving me whiplash while blinding me with strobing towers of light.  I know, I know, most of you aren't into metal, but even Louie from A Brief Smile was losing his mind.  Does anyone have video from the show?  All I have is this garbage photo I took on my Blackberry.  Check out their video for "Vulture" off my favorite ALOL album "Hunter."  God this band rules.  Oh also, an open letter to Public Assembly: GET A FUCKING REAL SOUND MAN YOU RETARDS.  THAT ROOM IS GREAT BUT IT'S METAL FOR GOD'S SAKE, I NEED TO HEAR THE KICK DRUM.  VOCALS WOULD BE NICE AS WELL.
